Felt like tabbing this because I love the bassline in it. Not the toughest part, but playing is fantastic. It's in drop D, and there are a few notes that are tough to hear the "Hanging like this..." part. The rest of the song is pretty "in your face" with It also sounds best when you throw a little bit of overdrive into the mix, and if you use a (and pick hard!), like Simon does. Just listen for the rhythm, because I'm not 100% sure got it perfect. The notes should be correct, though. Enjoy! Intro (the keyboard part... you can play along with it) G-------------------------------------------------------| D----------------------------------------------7-8~-----| A-5--77--55----3--2---------------5--77--55-------------| D--------------------5--3~------------------------------| G-------------------------------------------------------| D--------------------------------------------------5-7~-| A-5--77--55----3--2---------------5--77--55----7-8------| D--------------------5--3~------------------------------| Main Verse (In a room without a light...) (Repeat these two parts for the verses) G-----------------------------------------------------------------| D-------------------------------------------------------------333-| A---777-555-2-3-5---777-555-2-3-5-------------------3-3-3-555-----| D-0---------------0---------------333333-555555-777---------------| (Here for one more treacherous night...) G----------------------------------------------------------------------| D----------------------------------------------------------------------| A---777-555-2-3-5---777-555-2-3-5--------------------------------------| D-0---------------0---------------333333-555555-777--333333-555555-777-| Chorus (Hanging like this...) G-------------------------------------------------------------------| D----------------5----------------5-----555-------------555---------| A-----777-55-7-8-------777-55-7-8-----------888-777---------888-777-| D-3-2--------------3-2--------------3-5-------------3-5-------------| Outro (Its torture... I'm almost there) G---------------------------------------------------------------------| D---------------------------------------------------------------------| A---------------------------------------------------------------------| D-3-0----000----003----003--335-5-5-3-0----000----003----003--335-5-5-| After the outro, it goes back to the main verse, which is played a few times and then song ends on a D. This is how I like to do it, but it can be played with only the open D: G----------| D----------| A-5~~~-----| D-0~~~-----| I hope you like the tab! Unless I'm losing my hearing at the ripe age of 20, the notes be pretty dead-on!
