Over My Head Cable Car

Over my head (Cable Car) - A Day To Remember

For the F chord, i played it like this:

e-1 (index) press down index to get both these strings or you
b-1 (index) can press down on the b string and mute the e string
g-2 (midddle finger)
d-3 (pinky)
a-3 (ring finger)
e-x (muted)

And for me the Em chord sounded a bit off so i played this:

e-0 (open) not sure what the exact
b-1 (index finger) name of this chord is
g-0 (open)
d-2 (ring finger)
a-2 (middle finger)
e-0 (open)

Verse
  F Am G F
I never knew, I never knew that everything was falling through
       Am G F
That everyone I knew was waiting on a cue
    Am G F Em G F
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth but that's how it's got to be
      Am C F
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
     Am G F
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
     Am C F Em G
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears

Chorus
F C Am G F C Am G
Everyone knows I'm in over my head, over my head
      F C Am G F C Am G
With eight seconds left in overtime she's on your mind, she's on your mind

Verse 2
       F Am C F
Let's rearrange I wish you were a stranger I could disengage
Am G F
Say that we agree and then never change
Am G F Em G F
Soften a bit until we all just get along but that's disregard
Am G F
Find another friend and you discard
        Am G F
As you lose the argument in a cable car
Am G F Em G
Hanging above as the canyon comes between

Chorus
F C Am G F C Am G
Everyone knows I'm in over my head, over my head
      F C Am G F C Am G
With eight seconds left in overtime she's on your mind, she's on your mind
F C Am G F C Am G
Everyone knows I'm in over my head, over my head
      F C Am G F C Am G F
With eight seconds left in overtime she's on your mind, she's on your mind, she's on your mind

    F Am C F
Without a sound we lose sight of the ground in the throw around

      F C Am G F C Am G
With eight seconds left in overtime she's on your mind, she's on your mind
F C Am G F C Am G
