                            Alt-J - Fitzpleasure
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Tim van Kester
E-mail:

Tuning: Open D (DADF#AD)

One of the coolest songs on the album. Like most of their songs, the guitar
is tuned to Open D. This is my interpretation of Joe's guitar parts and some
of Gwil's.
Please leave a comment if you disagree with some parts!

F#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |-2------5---4---0--2------5---4--0----------------------------------------|

This riff gets repeated some times, easy to figure out when and where to
start it.

Of all the feckless men that queue to be the next:
D |-9--7--0--9--7--0--9--0--9--7--0--9--7--0--9--7---------------------------|
A |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9---------------------------|

D |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9---------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

The other guitarist plays the following. He plays it in normal tuning, but
I tabbed it for this tuning. Just lower it two frets if you are in normal
tuning.
D |-14--11-------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |---------14--12---------------14------------------------------------------|
F#|-------------------x-a-lot----------------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Meanwhile, open D guitar plays this:
Steepled fingers...
D |-9--7--0--9--7--0--9--0--9--7--0--9--7--0--9--7--|
A |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|

A |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|
F#|-------------------------------------------------|
D |-------------------------------------------------|
A |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--0--0--0--0--0--0--0--0--|

A |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|
F#|-------------------------------------------------|
D |-------------------------------------------------|
A |-------------------------------------------------|
D |-9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|

Repeat it once, but add this at the end:

D |-9--|
A |-9--|
F#|----|
D |----|
A |----|
D |-9--|

In your hoof lies the heartland...
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |-----------0--------2--2--2--2--2--0--0--0--2--2--2--2--2--2--0--0--2--2--|

D |----------------------------------|
A |----------------------------------|
F#|----------------------------------|
D |----------------------------------|
A |----------------------------------|
D |-2--2--2--2--2--2--2--2--2--2--2--|

Open D guitar doesn't play anything now, but the other one does. He probably
did earlier but I am too lazy to tab. But here it's just filled with
D |----|
A |----|
F#|----|
D |-12-| Times a million.
A |----|
D |----|

Blended by the lights!
D |--------------------------------------2-----------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------2-----------------------------------|
F#|--------------------------------------2-----------------------------------|
D |--------------------------------------2-----------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------2-----------------------------------|
D |--------5---4---0--2------5---4--0----2-------5---4---0--2------5---4--0--|
