Chicago

Seems nobody's hammered out the chords to this yet, probably because there's some funky
accidentals goin' on in the choruseseseses. Anyway, it's my favorite track on the
record, so I guess I'll do it.

There's some tabs for the intro that work okay, so you can use those for that part.

INTRO PART 1 CHORDS: (These things--> |...| represent bars of cut time.)

|C, -| |F, G| |C, -| |G, -|
|C, -| |F, G| |C, -| |-, -| x2

INTRO PART 2 CHORDS: (0:19)

C, E, Am, Gm, F, C, D, G7 :||

VERSE 1:

 C F C
Not afraid to tell 'em like it is.
              F C
Not afraid to be the badass in this.
        F C F
Well I know that things are getting better.

PRECHORUS 1:

 C Em C G
Walking again.
  C Em C G
Calling out again.

E F C G
And we're just as good as them, I know.
E F C G
And we're just as good as them, if not better.

VERSE 2:

C F C
If there are three steps to awareness,
            F C
Then they haven't found one yet.
      F C F
The outline of their lives has lost it's sharpness.

PRECHORUS 2:

C Em7 C G
Wanting again. (What we are we are)
C Em7 C G
Calling out again. (We're calling out again)

E F C G
And we're just as good as them, I know.
E F C G
And we're just as good as them, if not better.

CHORUS:

C E Am Gm
And now I know what they meant when they always said:
F C D G7
"We're not noticed but we have so much more to give."
C E Am Gm
And now I know what they meant when they always said:
F C D G7
"We're not noticed but we have so much more to give."

REPEAT INTRO PART 1:

BRIDGE:
C F C
I heard I could not stop it,
           F C
I heard I could not change it,
           F
I heard I could not help it,
 C G
but I keep on trying.

C CMaj7 C
Whoever said we'd be last? (Whoa no)
C CMaj7 C G
Whoever said we'd be last? 'Cause I don't think so.

PRECHORUS 3:

C E Am Gm
And now I know what they meant when they always said:
F C D G7
"We're not noticed but we have so much more to give."
C E Am Gm
And now I know what they meant when they always said:
F C D G7
"We're not noticed but we have so much more to give."
