VERSE 1:
G
Late yesterday night,
              C F#/C# Em
I saw a light shine from a window,
Am7 D
And as I looked again,
     G
Your face came into sight.

VERSE 2:
G
I couldn't walk on,
            C F#/C# Em
Until you'd gone from your window.
Am7 D
I had to make you mine,
  G
I knew you were the one.

CHORUS:
G5 A5
Oh, I would be glad,
Em F#/C# G
Just to have a love like that.
A5 G5
Oh, I would be true,
        Em C Gaug-Baug-Gaug-Baug
And I'd live my life for y-oo-oh-u.

VERSE 3:
G
So meet me tonight,
               C F#/C# Em
Just where the light shines from a window.
Am7 D
And as I take your hand,
         G
Say that you'll be mine tonight.

REPEAT CHORUS

VERSE 4:
G
So meet me tonight,
               C F#/C# Em
Just where the light shines from a window.
Am7 D
And as I take your hand,
         G G/D
Say that you'll be mine tonight.

End

Notes
1. There are but a few TAB'd versions of this song. This version is based
directly on the observation of this Live performance on "Ready, Steady Go!" in
1964. By Robin MacDonald of 'The Dakotas', their Rhythm guitarist. You can see
Keith Relf from the Yardbirds hosting at the beginning and end of this video.

2. Despite his previous international success Kramer went backwards with his
second and last UK single of 1964, the Lennon–McCartney composition "From a
Window", which only just became a Top Ten hit.
