Fathers Song

“Father's Song”
As performed in August Rush by Leon G Thomas III
Original song by Charles Mack

Tabbed out by Nick a.k.a. fluffyhead88

Okay, so this is tabbed out to play in open position.
The key it's in in the movie has it at capo 1,
but you can put the capo wherever you're comfortable vocally,
just play it with these fingerings relative to the capo.
Make sense?

I wrote out the left-hand positions so you're not struggling to
figure out where/how to hold the strings down.
It should help out a lot!
I've written the chords in for those positions that are actually chords.
It'll make more sense in a bit.

Left-Hand Positions:

   (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)
e– 2 2 2 3 2 0
b- 3 3 3 3 3 3
g- 2 2 2 0 0 0
d- 0 0 2 0 0 0
A- x 3 2 1 0 0
E- x x x x x x
    D

   (7) (8) (9) (10) (11)
e– x 0 0 2 3
b- 3 0 2 3 3
g- 4 1 2 2 3
d- 4 2 2 0 0
A- 2 2 0 x 2
E- x 0 x x 3
    Bm E A D G
