Walk The Fleet Road

Walk the Fleet Road - Editors
Tabbed by: hustlerboy

Tuning: Standard

Okay guys here is another editors tab, really simple song and fun to play and sing
(unless you are tone deaf of course, like myself haha). In the chorus part of the song, the
rhythm slightly changes and you play both chords at the same pace but the singing starts
after you've played both chords, listen to the song to understand what i'm talking about.

Intro

C G C F x2

C G C F
A winter wind blows, in from the north,
C G C F
Scratches your spine, cold like the forth.
C G
But you're a long way from home,
C F
Through the dark we tiptoe,
C G C F
The hospital looms, as we walk fleet road.

C F
      Hold your tongue,
C F
      Swallow your venom,
C F
      You're too young,
C F
      Hold your tongue.

C G
No push and no shove,
C F
Spit your verbal mace,
C G C F
Hate can turn to love not for this human race,
Ohhhh

C F
      Hold your tongue,
C F
      Swallow your venom,
C F
      You're too young,
C F
      Hold your tongue.

C F
      Hold your tongue, (my heart...)
C F
      Swallow your venom, (...will explode)
C F
You're too young, (as we walk...)
C F
Hold your tongue. (...the fleet road)
