On To The Next One

Song: On To The Next One
 Artist: Escape The Fate
Album: This War Is Ours (2008)
 Tabbed by: Josh [email protected]
 Tuning: Drop C ( C G C F A D )

This song is super sick. I can't figure out the solo perfect, but that's
mostly because of all the pinch harmonics and effects throw me off. What I
have is pretty close, and this is what I'm gonna be playing if I play this
for a show any time soon.

Note I'm tabbing the rhythm track first and then the Lead later. Scroll down
for lead.

The first verse is all just the main riff played all palm muted.

Play the Pre-Chorus/Chorus again, and hold on the last chord for one more
repeat. The solo is just the main riff palm muted over and over.

-Bridge-

D |--------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------|
F |--------------------------------------------------------|
C |8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--|

G |8--8--8--8---7--7--7--7--5--5--5--5--3--3--3--3--|
C |-------------------------------------------------|

Pre-Chorus again.

-Final Chorus-

There's only one difference in the final chorus, it's right at the beginning
and you can't miss it.

D |----------------------------|
A |----------------------------|
F |----------------------------|
C |3\---------10\--------------|
G |3\---------10\--------/13\--|
C |3\---------10\--------/13\--|

D |--------------------------------------------|
A |6--------6-6--6--6-6--6--------6-6--6--6-6--|
F |7--------7-7--7--7-7--6--------6-6--6--6-6--|
C |7--------7-7--7--7-7--6--------6-6--6--6-6--|
G |5--------5-5--5--5-5--4--------4-4--4--4-4--|
C |--------------------------------------------|

Then reapeat the normal chorus pattern 3 times, hang on the last chord
again, and into the outro.

-Outro-

D |-----------------------------------------------------|
A |-----------------------------------------------------|
F |-----------------------------------------------------|
C |-----------------------------------------------------|
G |---5-----5--5h7---4----4p0----5-----5--------4----7--|
C |0-----0---------0----0-----3-----3-----3p2-0----0----|
                   *    *                     *    *

D |-------------------------------------------------|
A |-------------------------------------------------|

G |---5-----5--5h7---4----4p0-3---3---2----3-2--5\--|
C |0-----0---------0----0-----3---3---2----3-2------|
                   *    *     *   *   *    * *

Okay now that I'm done with that we can move to the lead lines. Oh and Monte
is epic.

The intro and 1st verse are the same to both guitars, except there are a
couple parts where Monte plays his alone.

Anyways, the first place with something distinctly different.

-Pre Chorus/Chorus-

D |-------------x-6--8--8--8--8--8-9--9--9-9--|
A |-------------x-x--x--x--x--x--x-x--x--x-x--|
F |-------------x-3--5--5--5--5--5-6--6--6-6--|
C |8\--8\--8\---------------------------------|
G |8\--8\--8\---------------------------------|
C |8\--8\--8\---------------------------------|

The first time through the chorus is the same, but at the repeat it's
something like this...

D |-----------------------------------------------|
A |10-----10-11--10--11-10--8---------------------|
F |10-----10-10--10--10-10--9------12b14r12-9/12--|

G |-----------------------------------------------|
C |-----------------------------------------------|

D |---------------------------------------------------------|
A |----------------------------------------11-11--10--8/10--|
F |10---------12p10--9--10h12p10-9--------------------------|
C |----12---------------------------10----------------------|
G |---------------------------------------------------------|
C |---------------------------------------------------------|

Back to the main riff, sit quiet in Verse 2 til the end of the clean part,
then this little line.

D |--------------------------------------------|
A |---------13h14h16----------13h14h16-16'~~~~~|
F |12h14h15----------12h14h15------------------|
C |--------------------------------------------|
G |--------------------------------------------|
C |--------------------------------------------|

Main riff palm muted and REALLY quiet. Drop out and rest with the rhythm.

D |---------------------------|
A |----------11-11--10--8/10--|
F |9--------------------------|
C |---10----------------------|
G |---------------------------|
C |---------------------------|

-Solo-

Bunch of crazy effects and pinch harmonics everywhere, this is as close as I
can get.

C |------5-----------------------8p5--------|

A |--------------------------------pinch-------|
F |---------------------------------and--------|

Not perfect but I tried.

-Bridge-

D |--------------------------------------------------------|
A |--------------------------------------------------------|
F |--------------------------------------------------------|
C |8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--|
G |8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--|
C |8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--|

D |----------------------------------------------------|
A |----------------------------------------------------|
F |-------7h9h10--------7h9h10-------5h7h9-------5h7h9-|
C |7h9h10--------7h9h10--------5h7h9-------5h7h9-------|
G |----------------------------------------------------|
C |----------------------------------------------------|

D |------------------------|
A |------------------------|
F |7----9----10-----14"----|
C |x----x----x-------------|
G |5----7----8-------------|
C |------------------------|

Pre-Chorus again, same as the other ones.

-Final Chorus-

D |------------------------|
A |------------13\---------|
F |10\---------------------|
C |------------------------|
G |------------------------|
C |------------------------|

D |---------------------------------------------------------|
A |----------------------------------------11-11--10--8/10--|
F |10---------12p10--9--10h12p10-9--------------------------|
C |----12---------------------------10----------------------|
G |---------------------------------------------------------|
C |---------------------------------------------------------|

Then the same stuff as the leads from the other chorus, the outro is also
the same on both guitars.
