Wake Up In The Morning

WAKE UP IN THE MORNING by Harry Palmer
From: Ford Theatre Time Changes -A New Musical ABC Records, 1969

You can hear this song on YouTube while watching a video the band made in 1969
(?), running amok through beautiful
downtown Milford, Massachusetts. Its really great!

Ford Theatre did not receive the credit or love they deserved. Tremendous talents
across the board.
I really enjoyed the Time Changes album, back in the day.
There are a few other songs from this album on YouTube; you should check them
out. A great band and a great record.

INTRO: Based on D minor chord. Strums something like:
       D-A-D/E D/E D/E (hammer) D/F D A D/E A/D/E hammer F (3x)

Through the verse, a Dm is played while walking the bass line down from open d
string, to c note (on the A string),
to the b note to open A string rapidly followed by the A7 chord.

VERSE 1:
