For the most part, these are exact chords. There are some variations as the progression is played.For example, 
the Dmaj7 bounces back and forth with a D6 in the choruses. Also, minus the first time through the intro, 
I like to play the Asus with an F# base; I've labeled it Asus2/F#. That pretty much sums it up.
