Jesus of Suburbia

This is about 95% accurate , maybe 98% , im just not sure on some of the riffs (only 1 or 2)
Enjoy it , this took me a while!

Ive Put each section in as a seperate song , so you can identify it easier.

Here's some info about the song......

It's from Green Day's masterpiece album , american idiot (2004)
Has a second guitar in and a piano , don't worry about that if your in a band ,
as you know , the other intruments can fill it in another way ( just compromise!)
It's 9 minutes 8 seconds long , so you might get a bit tired.
Enjoy as much as you can

Oh and a tip for iff you ina band , you can play it like this as the other
instruments will fill in the missing note...still sound sgood if your not though (in a band)

(EXAMPLE)

Lyrics:

I'm the son of rage and love
The Jesus of suburbia (Verse 1)
From the Bible of none of the above
On a steady diet of

Soda pop and Ritalin
No one ever died for my sins in hell (Verse 2)
As far as I can tell
At least the ones I've gotten away with

And there's nothing wrong with me
This is how I'm supposed to be (Chorus)
In a land of make believe
That don't believe in me

Get my television fix
Sitting on my crucifix (Verse 3)
The living room in my private womb
While the moms and brads are away

To fall in love and fall in debt
To alcohol and cigarettes (Verse 4)
And Mary Jane to keep me insane
And doing someone else's cocaine

(Chorus)

Lyrics:

At the center of the earth
In the parking lot (Verse 1)
Of the 7-11 were I was taught
The motto was just a lie

It says home is were your heart is
But what a shame (Verse 2)
Cause everyone's heart doesn't beat the same
We're beating out of time

City of the dead
At the end of another lost highway
Sign misleading to nowhere (Chorus)
City of the damned
Lost children with there dirty faces today
No one really seems to care

I read the graffiti
In the bathroom stall (Verse 3)
Like the holy scriptures of a shopping mall
And so it seemed to confess

It didn't say much
But it only confirmed that (Verse 4)
The center of the earth is the end of the world
And I could really care less

(Chorus)

IV. Dearly Beloved

The first time, a distorted electric guitar strums each
chord once. After that, an acoustic strums through them
with the electric palm muting.

Lyrics:

Dearly beloved are you listening?
I cant remember a word that you were saying
Are we demented or are we disturbed?
The space that's in between insane and insecure

Oh therapy, can you please fill the void?
Am I retarded or am I just overjoyed
Nobody's perfect and I stand accused
For lack of a better word, and that's my beat excuse

Lyrics:

To live and not to breathe
Is to die in tragedy (Verse 1)
To run, to run away
To find what you believe

And I
Leave behind (Chorus)
This hurricane of fucking lies

I lost my faith to this
This town that don't exist (Verse 2)
So I run, I run awy
The light of masochist

And I
Leave behind (Chorus)
This hurricane of fucking lies

And I
Walked this line (Chorus 2)
A million and one fucking times

But not this time

I don't feel any shame
I wont apologize
When there ain't nowhere you can go	(Piano Interlude)
Running away from pain
When you've been victimized
Tales from another broken...

Home!
