        D G D
We meet face to face always risking absurdity.
G D A
Wondering will you tire of me, it's a sleight of hand.
       D G
Well I bet you won't catch me, catch me if you can.

              D
The world's a wonderful place
       G D
If you don't mind laughing at your mistakes,
       G D
If you don't mind feeling like you've lost your brakes,
                 A Bm D
And if you don't mind a touch of hell every now and then.

    D
You don't really know me,
    G D
The watery muck flowing through my veins?
    G D
The psycho-babble on my brain,
                  A Bm
Well it's all the rage.

Bm A
And it drives men wild,
            Bm
This life unseen,

            A
And I'll do anything

To come clean.

The nails dig in. They may break your skin every now and then.
        D
Now I'm yearning disabled
  G D
Longing for nothing I'm certain of.

All the rage.

This life unseen.

To come clean.

                        let ring

Notes: 1. Although Brian is usually playing the power chords on the
bottom three strings, sometimes he throws in the open higher strings
too especially at the end of a phrase.

2. The main melodic riff can be used any time you have the D to G
chord pattern; listen for when Brian does and when he doesn't.

3. Most of the treble noodling is done by Jason around fairly
conventional fingerings for the chords. If you find yourself wanting
to hear notes in certain places, try to add them.

4. My reference point is how H&F played it circa 1996 so there may be
some discrepancies with the version on "Live" especially in the melodic
riff.

5. I tried to make rhythms clear, but they are--of
course--approximate.
