Breathe Our Iodine

Breathe Our Iodine
Words and Music by Ben Gibbard and Jay Farrar from the Album "One Fast Move or I'm Gone"

Em*
Breathe our iodine
Filthy your drink
Faint at feet wet drop your profile
Move it in the sea

Burn in Asus2 salt G
With slow most Em* change
One grain of Asus2 sand G
3 thousand Em* worlds of glee

Em* Riff Em* Riff

Em*
Murdering of time
For me for us the sea
Lusty cracks of lip feed wave
Nothing but old age
Burn in Asus2 salt G
With slow most Em* change
One grain of Asus2 sand G
3 thousand Em* worlds of glee

Em* Riff Em* Riff

Em*
Drop your profile
Move it in the sea
No crack at eternity
For me for us the sea
Burn in Asus2 salt G
With slow most Em* change
One grain of Asus2 sand G
3 thousand Em* worlds of glee

Em* Riff Em* Riff

Em*
Drop your profile
Not to mention me
Aeons with cigar-a-mouth
Move it in the sea
Burn in Asus2 salt G
With slow most Em* change
One grain of Asus2 sand G
3 thousand Em* worlds of glee

Em* Riff Em* Riff

Notes:

Em* is a regular Em but hammering on/off the 4th fret of the 6th string (G#) with your
in time with the rhythm. With this chord, you're only strumming the E and A strings to
that nice crunchy sound. A full Em will sound whack.

For the Asus2 chord, only strum the D, G and B strings. Again, a full chord = whack.

The riff is a little walk down to Em. You play this riff and then right back into
the modified Em.
