Peeled Apples

Song: Peeled Apples
Band: Manic Street Preachers
Tuning: Standard

This is based on a live acoustic performance by James Dean Bradfield.

Verse 1: Starts with a G then D.
Em G D Em G D
The more I see The less I scream
Em G D Em
The figure eight inside out Is infinity
Am G D
The naked light bulb is always wrong
Em G D Em
They make your brain complete then they blow it to kingdom come.

Riff 1:

Chorus:
C Am G Em
Riderless horses on Chomsky's Camelot
C Am G Em
Bruises on my hands from digging my nails out
C Am G Em
A series of images against you and me
C Am G Em
Trespass your torments if you are what you wanna be

Riff 1 Variation:

Verse 2:
Em G D Em
 D
I once impersonated A shop work dummy
Em G D Em
The levi jean will always Be stronger than the uzi
Am G D
A dwarf takes his cockrel out of the cockfight
Em G D Em
Falcons attack the pigeons In the west wing at night

Riff 1

Chorus:
C Am G Em
Riderless horses on Chomsky's Camelot
C Am G Em
Bruises on my hands from digging my nails out
C Am G Em
A series of images against you and me
C Am G Em
Trespass your torments if you are what you wanna be

Riff 2: 2x

Though not actually played in the acoustic version I used to write this tab, if you
like to add in the chords between the Am in the second half of the verses, in a similar
to the G and D between the Em, the chords are a G power chord and B power chord, on the
and fifth strings respectively.
