Hi-lo And In-between

Ok, there's a similar version already here, I just edited it a bit.
Note that in the original studio version the capo goes on the 3rd fret but on the
live versions like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQH4Pu5xSz4&feature=related
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ekrbi1E1UNY&feature=related
he plays with the capo on the 2nd fret. So use whichever you like :)

Artist: Neil Halstead
Song: Hi-Lo And In-Between

Standard tuning: E A D G B E

Chords used: C* (032013) G F Am Em
Capo 3rd fret
You can either strum softly or listen to the song to get the finger picking
pattern right. Good luck and have fun! :)

Intro: C* G F G (x4)

Verse 1:

C* G
One day it just snowed I guess
          F G C* G F G
and they closed the roads into your heart
C* G
You came home like a dead star
    F G C* G F G
no light left, no loving anymore

C* G
Years ago you sent a postcard,
      F G C* G F G
it's the one that always made me laugh
         C* G
It said "send for reinforcements
               F G C* G F G
cause there's too much here for me to love"

Chorus:

(G) Am Em F
What would they say
(F) G C* G F G
What would they say to make you feel O... K...
(G) Am Em F
What would they do
(F) G C* G F G (hold)
What would they do to make you feel O... K...

Same pattern and chords continue...

Verse 2:

C* G
Years ago I read a story
F G C* G F G
about a man who had a plan
C* G
Tied himself on to a balloon
       F G C* G F G
yeah, cut the ties and tried to reach the moon

C* G
Rescued by an airline pilot
F G C* G F G
15 thousand feet above the world
C* G
Dragged him down, they wished him luck
        F G C* G F G
they'd hoped that he learned his lesson well

Chorus:

(G) Am Em F
What would they say
(F) G C* G F G
What would they say to make him feel O... K...
(G) Am Em F
What would they do
(F) G C* G F G (hold)
What would they do to make him feel O... K...

Verse 3:

C* G
Kathy I can still see stars
     F G C* G F G
the same ones that we wished upon
C* G
I know you know your way around
      F G C* G F G
but I can tell you're losing ground

C* G
I can see you on the radar
     F G C* G F G
But you know I could never bring you back
C* G
You cut the ties, you're floating free yeah,
F G C* G F G
hi and lo and in-between
C* G
You cut the ties, you're floating free yeah,
F G C*
hi and lo and in-between
