Her Eyes

Love this song and was searching for some chords
or tab on the net. Found a few of them. One was
lacking quite a bit, the other was closer but still
not right. So I figured it out myself.

Intro
Em G A G Em G A

1st Verse:
Em G A G
She’s not afraid; she just likes to use her night-light
Em G A
When she gets paid, true religion gets it all
        G
If they fit right.
Em G A
She’s a little bit manic, completely organic
         G C
Doesn’t panic for the most part.
                     D Em
She’s old enough to know, and young enough not to say no

2nd Verse:
    G A G
To any chance that she gets for home plate tickets to see the Mets.
Em G A
Like everybody, she’s in over her head,
                                        G
Dreads Feds, Grateful Dead, and doesn’t take meds.
Em G
She’s a Gemini Capricorn
A G
Thinks all men are addicted to porn.
C
I don’t agree with her half the time,
     D
But, damn I’m glad she’s mine.

Em C D A
Em C
That’s where blue skies
D A
Meet the sunrise.
C Em D A C
     D Em
When I go home.
3rd Verse:
Em G A G
She got the kinda strength that every man wishes he had.
Em G A G
She loved Michael Jackson up until he made Bad.
Em G
Tells me that she lives about a hundred lives,
A G
Scares me to death when she thinks and drives,
      C
Says cowboy hats make her look fat,
    D
and I’m so glad she’s mine.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Em G A
She doesn’t know the word “impossible”
Em G A G
Don’t care where I’ve been and doesn’t care where we’re goin’ to.
Em G A
She takes me as I am, and that ain’t easy. Awwww...
      C D
She’s beautiful. So beautiful.

*On this line, do the chords in single strokes*
Em G A
And sometimes I think she’s truly crazy.

(Silence)
And I love it.

Repeat Chorus 2X

Last line:
Em G A (Let the chord sustain)
She’s not afraid; she just likes to use her night-light.

End
