By Peter Bradley Adams
from Leavetaking
Tabbed by Kagemage

Standard Tuning

D

D A D(5th fret) G D A

D A D(5th fret) G A D

       D A D(5th fret) G D A
Oh Los Angeles we leave you now At the setting of your skies
       D A D(5th fret) G A
As we leave the comfort of your ground, With your angels we will
D A D(5th fret) G D A
  fly
D A D(5th fret) G A D

         D A D(5th fret) G D A
Well you carried us in broken dreams Like a mother does her sons
         D A D(5th fret) G D A
We were scattered 'cross your dirty streets We were dying one by one
        G (10th) D(5th) A
And you held us in your city lights
         D A G
When our eyes had lost the stars,

        D A D(5th fret) G A
And we made our peace with lonely nights And you healed our broken

D A D(5th fret) G D A
hearts
D A D(5th fret) G A D

          D A D(5th fret) G D A
Well they say the big one's gonna come And you'll fall into the sea
        D A D(5th fret) G A
We will know then that your work is done And your angels will

D A D(5th fret) G A
go free And your angels will

D A D(5th fret) G A
go free And your angels will

D A D(5th fret) G A D
go free And your angels will go free

This is my first tab ever, hope it worked out ok. I play it with a mix of finger
picking and strum. I'll add a tab of the strum/picking I use if there's enough
interest. Haven't got it quite down to how he plays it yet.
Please feel free to comment or make any corrections. Hope you enjoy ^_^
