The Wrestler

Reverend and the makers - The Wrestler
From the Album @Reverend_Makers

Dead easy..
Not a hundred percent on the lyrics, but they sound nearly right. Can't find them online
anywhere so I did my best transcribing from the CD.

Intro:- G#m E

Verse 1:-
G#m
The want of the old the thrill of the new
He won't be told now he's taken the view
         E G#m
That the guilt is a foe that he'd much rather fight tomorra.

G#m
He's taken her home now he's had a few
A side of your soul because she's had a few too
        E G#m
And the guilt is a foe that they'd both rather fight tomorra

Chorus:-
                        G#m
So if you grapple get a grip, quick, don't slip tonight
No stone cold Steve no men in tights
       C#m E G#m
There's a one, two, three when your conscience pins you down
                          G#m
You can come at it with a drop, kick it's quick to scar
Internal tussle it's a no-holds barred
            C#m E
You are the wrestler and your conscience pins you down.

Verse 2:-
Preventing the final persuading the doubt.
Removing the chance of ever being found out.
There's no take two with the tag team til tomorra.

The want of the old the thrill of the new.
He won't be told now he's taken the view.
That the guilt is a foe that they'd both rather fight tomorra.

Chorus:

Bridge:-
G#m
Now that everyone's been a wrestler before
C#m E
Until you find out that you can't have 'em all (x4)

Chorus:
