Intro: x2

Verse 1:

Dm C Am Bb Dm C
Tell me what I'm supposed to do, with all these leftover feelings of you;
             Am Bb
cause I don't know.
Dm C Am Bb Dm C
And tell me how I'm supposed to feel, when all these nightmares become real;
              Am Bb
cause I don't know.

Pre-Chorus:

       Bb C Dm
And I don't think, you see, the places inside me that I find you,
       Bb C Dm
and I don't know, how we, separate the lies here from the truth,
      Bb C Dm Bb
and I don't know, how we, woke up one day somehow thought we knew,
C Dm
exactly what we're supposed to do.

Chorus:

   Dm C Bb C
So leave me, at the road-side.
    Dm C Bb C
And hang me, up and out to dry.
   Dm C Bb C
So leave me , at the road-side.
    Dm C Bb C
And hang me, up and out to dry.

Pre-Chorus 2:

      Bb C Dm
And I don't think, you see, the places inside me that I find you,
      Bb C Dm Bb
and I don't know, how we, woke up one day somehow though we knew,
C Dm
exactly what we're supposed to do.

Interlude/ Intro again x2:

Pre-Chorus 2:
      Bb C Dm
And I don't think, you see, the places inside me that I find you,
      Bb C Dm Bb
and I don't know, how we, woke up one day somehow thought we knew,
C Dm Bb
exactly what we're supposed to do,
 C Dm
exactly what to do.

This song is has both two different guitar parts but I only felt like doing

one. I play this song acoustically and by myself singing but since the

originally version is done with both female and male vocals (which overlap

at times so just listen to the song for timing) you could also

do it as a duet with 1 or 2 guitars. I hope it serves very useful, enjoy :D

please rate/comment.
