The Crawl

GWell, we're good Dol Gboys We come from the north Dshore.
DriCnkers and carGousers, the Dlikes you've never seen.
GAnd this night, Dby G God, we drank til there was no Dmore.
From C The Troller, to The G Raven... with Dall stops in betwGeen.

GWell it all began one afternoon on the Dshores of Ambleside.
We were sitting there quite peacefully, with the Crisin' of the Dtide.
GWhen an idea it came for-to mind to D usher in the fall.
And we all agreed next friday night, we'd go C out on the Gcrawl.

GWell we planned to have a gay ol' time, the Dcash we did not spare,
We left all the cars at home and C paid the taxi D fare.
G I got out to Horseshoe Bay a D little after five
from a table in the corner, I heard fam C iliar voices G rise.

GThe spirits, they ran high that night, old D stories we did share.
of the days when we were younger men, and C never had a D care.
GThe beer flowed like a river and we D drank the keg near dry.
So we drank down all our glasses, and were C thirsty by-and- G by!

GPark Royal Hotel, The Rusty Gull, Square-DRigger, and Queen's Cross.
We started off with eight good boys, but half of Cus got Dlost.
GAnd you'll never keep the lads together, when there D eyes began to rove
And there were just the three of us that C made it to Deep G Cove.

G We arrived out at the Raven, just in D time for the last call.
The final destination of this, the first Cannual Dcrawl.
G We dug deep into our pockets, there was no D money to be found.
Nine miles home and for C walkin' we are G bound.
