                             WRISTS - Tegan And Sara
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: trik2knave
Email: [email protected]

Tuning: Standard

Sect. 1 (Played during INTRO and "Hurry Hurry Hurry")

e|---------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------|
A|-----7-----11-----9-----9-----9-----9--|
E|--5-----9------7-----7-----7-----7-----| (play 5 times during INTRO)

Sect. 2 (VERSE)

(Oh my wrists are weak...)

Here are two versions of it.
The first is the way I play, and below that is a version that requires less of a stretch.
Either way works (because the notes aren’t changed, just the placement on the neck).

Version 1:

e|------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------|
G|------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------|
A|-----12-----------11------------9------------7--|
E|--9------------7------------5------------4------| (slide back up to 9 on E when repeating)

Version 2:

E|-----------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------------|
D|-----7------------6------------4------------2--|
A|-----------------------------------------------|
E|--9------------7------------5------------4-----|

At “Hurry hurry hurry” play Sect. 1 again 3 times

Sect. 3.1

(Don't judge a book by the size of its wrists...)

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----7-----9-----11-----4-----4-----4-----4-----4-----4-----4-----4--|
E|--5-----7-----9------2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----|

Sect. 3.2

(Separated for simplification of the outro. "Sect. 3" means both 3.1 AND 3.2 are played
without pause)
e|---------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------|
A|-----7-----11-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9--|
E|--5-----9------7-----7-----7-----7-----7-----7-----|

Order of play:

Intro - Sect. 1 x5
Verse 1 - Sect. 2 x4
Chorus 1a - Sect. 1 x3
Verse 2 - Sect. 2 x4
Chorus 2a - Sect. 1 x3
Chorus 2b - Sect. 3 x2 (second time through, play the 7-9 repetition 8 times
instead of 6)
Verse 3a - Sect. 2 x4
Chorus 3a - Sect. 1 x3
Verse 3b - Sect. 2 x2
Chorus 3b - Sect. 1 x3
Chorus 3c - Sect. 3 x1
Sect. 3.1 x2 (SKIP Sect. 3.2 this time)
            Sect. 3.2 x1 (repeating '7-9' 8 times instead of 6)
Sect. 3 ENDING x1 (see below)*

*This whole last part is different, if you hadn't noticed.
It becomes a bit jumpier at this point, with the sections becoming slightly shorter.
Not terribly complicated, but for the sake of accuracy here it is.

Sect. 3 ENDING looks like this (this is how the song ends):

e|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----4-----4-----4-----4-----7-----11------14-----7-----7-----7-----7--|
E|--2-----2-----2-----2-----5-----9------12------5-----5-----5-----5-----|

e|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----7-----9-----11-----4-----4-----4-----4-----7-----11------14-----9-----9-----9-----9--|
E|--5-----7-----9------2-----2-----2-----2-----5-----9------12------7-----7-----7-----7-----|

e|---------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------|
A|-----7-----9-----11-----4-----4-----4-----4--|
E|--5-----7-----9------2-----2-----2-----2-----|

Corrections? Comments?

Send them to me - concrit would also be appreciated (first tab, after all)

Did my best to make it make sense. If I failed somewhere, please let me know.
I would be more than happy to fix things to make this tab clearer.
I realize that the ending as I have tabbed may be confusing, so let me know what can be
for improvement.
