Chords:

G Major (320033)

C/G Major (332010) (but you can also play a regular C Chord) wich is (X32010)

G C/G G
Many years ago when a lad at mother's knee
G D7
I heard her call my name in prayer
G C/G G
Praying for the Lord to save me for eternity
G D7 G
I heard her call my name in prayer

G
Yes mother called my name in prayer
                            D7
I heard her call my name in prayer
G C/G G
As she bowed upon her knees before her old bedside
                    D7 G
I heard her call my name in prayer

Little Instrumental Break:

high e string: 3-5-6-7-7-3-5-6-7-7-3-8-8-3-8-7-3-5-6-7-7-8-7-8-7-6-5-3--0--3

Then on the b string 4-3
G C/G G
As the years rolled on for me she never failed to pray
                              D7
I know she’ll call my name in prayer
G C/G G
Praying that I’ll always lead the straight and narrow way
                      D7 G
I know she’ll call my name in prayer
G
Yes Mother called my name in prayer
G D7
I heard her call my name in prayer
G C/G G
As she bowed upon her knees before her old bedside
G D7 G
I heard her call my name in prayer

HINT: It sounds much cooler ich you use this strumming:

Plug the Bass string and then do a strum on the chord (Country Style)

But: You can change the Bass in the Chord back and forth

If you play the G Chord you can plug the D and the A string as Bass.

If you play the D7 Chord you can plug the D and A string as Bass.

If you play the C Chord, you can plug the A and E string as Bass.

Alright! That's it! Hope you have fun with that :-)
