None of them
Puritan by Widowspeak Opening track from the band's 2011 self titled debut. Couldn't make out all the lyrics, but I tried to write down what I could. I didn't bother tabbing some of the lead solo stuff in the middle of the song, but these chords are correct. Tuning: Standard NOTE: E is the only chord in the song that is played open; the rest are all barre chords, as indicated. Intro: Four hour drive Strange world outside Shattered to see The sun go down B11 A B11 A Don't know ourselves B11 A In this hollow town Then play this: E (open) followed by A— E E E E E E E / AA If you have two guitarists you can continue play this progression over the top of the following verses (which just alternate between an E and A). E So charmed, the rich in power A Puritans had all the power E Show them how their eyes were blue A Tell me I'll stay with you B11 A Always waiting B11 A And you're fading, fading out E So I looked my Sunday best A Still inside a devil's dress E Tall, dark ... (?) A Like the time they stood (?) B11 A I was looking B11 A Puritans watching B11 A I, I was watching, watching out Resume E / A progression and end the song on the E chord.
