                             Bull Black Nova - Wilco
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I looked for tabs for this song but couldn't find any I liked, so this is
what I've learned from listening to and playing along with the song. I'm
not sure about everything (there are three guitars and a keyboard, it can
be hard to tell them all apart). It sounds like they trade parts sometimes
in the song, but for simplicity's sake I'll just keep everything consistent
 as guitars 1, 2 and 3.
Any corrections are welcome.

Guitarists:
Jeff Tweedy
Nels Cline
Patrick Sansone

Tuning:Standard (EADGBE)

Intro

D|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3---------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 2 does something like this:
e|----------------0------------------------------------------------------|
B|----1-----------1------------------------------------------------------|
G|------3---------0------------------------------------------------------|
D|--2-------------2------------------------------------------------------|
A|3---------------3------------------------------------------------------|

A|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Chorus:
This is tricky, but these chords sound alright (listen for the timing)
  G F G F A G
e|3------1----------3-3-3-1-5-3------------------------------------------|
B|3------1----------3-3-3-1-5-3------------------------------------------|
G|4------2----------4-4-4-2-6-4------------------------------------------|
D|5------3----------5-5-5-3-7-5------------------------------------------|
A|5------3----------5-5-5-3-7-5------------------------------------------|
E|3------1----------3-3-3-1-5-3------------------------------------------|

verse 2:

Guitar 1- varies a little throughout the verse, but is based on this:
  C
e|--------------0------------------------1-------0-----------------------|
B|--------1-------1----------------1---------1-------1-------------------|
G|----0-----0-------0----------0-----0---------0-------0-----------------|
D|--2------------------------2---------2---------------------------------|
A|3------------------------3---------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 2- same as verse 1

Chorus x2

Bridge/lead- I have no idea what Cline and Tweedy are doing here, either
improvise or figure it out for yourself

Interlude- this is the part right after the bridge where the keyboard and
guitars go back and forth (timing isn't exact)

Guitar 1:
e|20-20-------20-20------------20-20-------------20-20-----------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|17-17-------17-17------------17-17-------------17-17-----------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 2:
e|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------16-16------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------17-17--------------17-17------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------15-15--------------15-15------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitars 1 and 2 keep playing these octaves of C, while guitar 3 comes in
with that crazy metallic scratching sound (strumming behind the bridge on a
Fender Jazzmaster while muting the strings)

verse 3:
Transitions from the interlude to the same arrangement as verse 2, except
that guitar 1 plays an octave higher (x15x17xx instead of x3x5xx).

Chorus (again, the weird metallic sound is either Cline or Tweedy playing
 behind the bridge)

After that everyone just goes crazy, it sounds like guitar 1 keeps playing
the same octave but just faster while guitar 2 launches into a lead using a
diatonic pitch effect... guitar 3 plays a very deep, fuzzed-out riff in the
background (might actually be a baritone guitar). Then it goes back to the
verse arrangement for a while, then back to chaos.
